Here at the Alaska Experience Theatre and 4th Avenue Market Place, you will find what nearly five minutes of destruction did to south-central Alaska and the rest of the Pacific as they display the most comprehensive photos of the destruction that took place where the Theatre and Market Place sits today. Nearly 15 feet of earth dropped where the Theatre sits today.
The Alaska Earthquake Exhibit combines science and history exhibits with an actual 4.5 shake while viewing the "Great Alaska Earthquake" movie in our Safequake Theatre." Exciting!!!
